Designer Pierre Paulin’s 1975 vision of “sitting on clouds” gets an armrest to provide added support and allow one to lean with ease to either side. Curvaceous, soft, and low to the floor, Pacha delivers endless comfort in a lounge chair, with the choice of a fixed base or swivel with return in black or pearl gold. Once ahead of its time, Paulin’s joyfully modernist creation comes into its own as reissued by Gubi, true to its original ergonomic precision and customizable upholstered contours traced with stitching.
