A fully upholstered version of Gubi’s bar and counter stool gets its comfortable contours via a breakthrough technique for molding 3-dimensional veneer. Perched on a weight-dispersing metal sledge base, the seating is clad in a choice of premium fabric or rich leather. Komplot’s innovative and highly awarded design also resides in the permanent collection of New York’s Museum of Modern Art—but is just as apropos in both residential and hospitality environs.
