Description
“Hierve el agua” is Spanish for “boil the water. It is also a coveted destination east of Oaxaca City that stands out for its natural mineral springs and white mineral formations resembling frozen waterfalls. Designer Jezarely Miguel’s graphics are a nod to the formations and rivers of this stunning terrain. As with all rugs in this Portland-based boutique studio’s range, contemporary aesthetics couple with generations-old craftsmanship. Each rug is meticulously handcrafted by artisans in the region using traditional and sustainable techniques. The 100% sheep’s wool is locally sourced and soft to the touch. Multiple sizes available, including custom orders upon request.
