Hyg Chair: Wood Base

A wooden base brings an organic dimension to Hyg’s embracingly sculpted contours with an ample seat and slightly higher curving sides. Designer Simon Legald’s shell chair in pressed polypropylene has notably generous proportions that allow for a wide range of relaxed seating postures. Inspired by the Danish ideal of hygge, a feeling of contentment lingers in both the visual experience of the design and overall comfort.
