Description
The highly coveted floral pattern has adorned homes since the 18th century. Inspired by Asian plants and Indian textiles, the pattern features hibiscus and pomegranate motifs. Collectors commonly refer to it as the “tobacco leaf” pattern, and it was a fashionable import as fine china. This pattern was the most highly valued of all the dinnerware patterns of the 18th century. The rectangular porcelain box has a lift-off lid and solid brass finial. The box is perfect for hiding small things or keys, or as a decorative accessory in the powder room.
